One of them is dressed up like bruno mars, one looks like kurt cobain, its like they all are trying to imitate some worldly singer. Being the chosen people of God they should look different from the world. Why does worship look so worldly now? Hillsongs was amazing a few years ago and i had every CD by them but now i just cant seem to digest all that i see. They are allowing too much of the world in a Godly setup called the house of the Lord.

Re: 7 Years Ago Today: I Remember

Hi Jon, this is Evangeline. Your "7 Years Ago Today" touched me so deeply that it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing. Our God is an awesome God that He will not forsake us especially in times of sorrow. I admire you and your family for the kind of faith and trust that you have even in times of difficulties. May the Lord bless you richly and congratulations to the new beginning of having a family of your own.

Re: 7 Years Ago Today: I Remember

Jon, that was a testimony a blessing all wrapped up together. I haven't really used the Music Stand portion of Planning Center, so I can't say if I think it's better. But there are things I definitely like about OnSong. You can pull in any song in your library, even if it isn't part of the scheduled plan. You can upload non-music documents (in connects with Dropbox, MobileMe, and other services). So I can save thoughts and scriptures as pdfs or docs and load them into a set. It will automatically transpose chord charts, interfaces with SongSelect, and with the Rockin' with the Cross database. You can export and backup your stuff, print sets out from within the program on a compatible printer, and it's solid. I've never had a problem or crash during a service. I haven't used the connect with other iPad feature, but can imagine that would be awesome. Especially since I dislike having to pull and file song sheets week after week. It has a built in metronome, can auto scroll songs based on length of the song, and play tracks from within it as well. Lots of great features.

Re: Some New Tools I’m Learning To Use in Worship Ministry

Onsong is great! I use it every week! You can store all your songs straight from CCLI and it organizes them by key, theme, etc and then you can create and share setlists right in the app. Also it keeps the iPad active for as long as it's open, which is great! And you can also sync the teams iPads and you can control all of them from yours! So when you go to the next song, the entire teams all go to the next song! Really neat! I'm in Loooove with my iPad! I'm def gonna check out this planning tool too!

Re: Some New Tools I’m Learning To Use in Worship Ministry

Cool.
